Episode 14 ● Let's Equip Craft Essences
Manga by: Riyo
Hello there, this is Mafia Kajita’s “Even Berserkers Can Understand!” Where we will kind of explain the game’s more complicated aspects. Episode 14 will talk about the extra Servant class, Shielder-class and Mash Kyrielight.
Now, on to the main topic! We talked briefly about Mash’s traits in Episode 2, but Shielder-class is excluded from the Class Affinity, and thus has no weaknesses against anyone. Currently, ★3 Mash is the only one in this class, and she is the first Servant summoned in the story.
After Chapter 4, she gains a Target Focus skill, just like Teacher Georgios, so she can truly act as a shield for the party with her defensive NP. Her Obscurant Wall of Chalk skill is especially superior, applying invincibility and increasing NP for a chosen ally.
The best part is that she is the only Servant, who costs 0 to be included in the party formation. She is useful in many ways, as you can squeeze her into a party formation of expensive Servants, or equip her with any special, event-specific Craft Essence for bonuses.
▲Feels better with Mash at the end as a back-up.
Despite all of her advantages, her one flaw is her ascension level-cap that only gets increased along with the main scenario of the story. Currently, her level can be increased to 60. However, now that many Masters have raised their main Servants before her, she does seem to be slightly weak compared to others. We always hope for Mash’s ascension with the introduction of a new chapter.
Either way, Mash is still one of the most reliable Servants for new Masters. You may not be able to use her much for offense, but she will always be by your side when you’re running out of Party Formation Cost. Just like how a perfect partner and a waifu would be…
That’s all. Next week, the final episode of this out-of-control manga, "Even Berserkers Can Understand!" is the last. We will talk about the face of FGO (kinda), Ruler-class Jeanne d’Arc, and end this clean.
