Servant Enhancement
The selected Servant will gain EXP by using Embers or other Servant cards. When a certain amount of EXP is gained, the Servant will level up, increasing their ATK and HP.

Servant Ascension
Pieces, Monuments, and other Materials obtained while playing the game can be used on Servants to perform Ascension, which allows them to grow into more powerful versions of themselves.
When a Servant reaches their level cap, using the necessary Materials for Ascension will increase that cap and allow them to grow even stronger.
You can perform Ascension on each Servant until they reach Stage Four. Ascension may change a Servant's Saint Graph as well as their battle sprite (with certain exceptions).
In addition, some Servants can change their costumes, which are called Spiritron Dresses. In order to unlock a Spiritron Dress, you must obtain the Wardrobe Key for it, fulfill certain requirements, and expend the necessary Materials. -
Enhancing a Servant's Skills
Skills that are used during battle can be enhanced with certain Materials. You can increase the level of a Servant's Skill by using certain Materials to enhance a Servant's Skills. By increasing a Skill's level, its strength is enhanced and its cooldown time may be reduced which will make it that much more effective during battle.

Enhancing Noble Phantasms
By combining copies of the same Servant, the selected Servant's NP level will increase. Increasing the level of an NP increases its NP Strength, which will greatly help in battle.
Increasing the level of an NP can also increase the maximum of the NP Gauge.
